About the Parish
St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Lorain, Ohio is a Roman Catholic parish in the Diocese of Cleveland and has been witnessing to the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the East Side of Lorain since 1923. We are a vibrant parish of about 400 households, and have an active school with Preschool through Eighth Grade as well as a Parish School of Religion for public school students. From the very beginning St. Anthony Parish was served by the Conventual Franciscan Friars, and is named for one of the most famous Franciscan saints. St. Anthony’s became a Diocesan Parish on July 1, 2010.
Please look over the many opportunities we offer and get involved in those things that interest you.

IT'S PIEROGI TIME and we're not talking about Mrs. T's!!
If you’ve had our pierogi before, you know how good they are.
If you haven’t, you are definitely missing out.
Our pierogi have been devoured in many Northeast Ohio cities, also Columbus and Dayton, even packed in dry ice and taken to California, not to mention that state “up north”!! Try them , treat yourself, you’ll love them.
Not only will you benefit by this easy to prepare meal but so does our school. In the past, proceeds have remodeled the library and bought new computers for the school. We are now getting ready for new projects which could benefit by these sales.
We will be selling frozen and cooked pierogi on Fridays during Lent from 3:00-7:00 pm, with side dishes available. Help us help the school, while treating yourself to our famous St. Anthony Pierogi!
