Students at St. Anthony use McGraw-Hill/Glencoe math series for math instruction.
In grades Kindergarten through 5, students use McGraw-Hill My Math. My Math provides the rigor, personalization, and student engagement our students need to be successful with the Common Core State Standards. This approach to elementary math is fully aligned with the Common Core State Standards and Mathematical Practices, allowing us to focus on inspiring a love of learning.
Our middle school students use Glencoe Math. Glencoe Math is relevant, rigorous, and results-focused. It includes math in context so students see how math matters. Glencoe Math makes math real for students. Thousands of digital planning tools and interactive resources are available to students online in one, easy-to-use portal, ConnectED. The three components of rigor—conceptual understanding, application, and procedural skill and fluency—are embedded in resources, lessons, and even assessments. It helps us meet students wherever they are in their learning. Differentiated instruction resources ensure approaching-level students master concepts before moving on, while beyond-level students are continually challenged.
Students in 6th through 8th grade have the opportunity to advance their mathematical abilities in our accelerated math program. To be eligible, students must show an interest in math and maintain a good work ethic. Students who successfully complete our Advanced Math program will progress through high-school level Algebra I.
