Program Licensing and Community

The St. Anthony of Padua Pre-School is fully licensed by the Ohio Department of Education.
Teachers and assistant teachers are certified by the State of Ohio and complete annual professional development to create a safe, clean and caring environment for our children. The Little Trojans Pre-School welcomes your family to our multi-generational, vibrant community that has been in partnership with the school since 1988!

Pre-School Philosophy and Curriculum

Our goal is to give our students a positive educational and spiritual foundation that they can build upon in future learning. Your child will be encouraged to develop a healthy self-image and a respect for others while preparing for Kindergarten using the Pre-Kindergarten Curriculum and Academic Guidelines prepared by the Diocese of Cleveland, which aligns with the Ohio Department of Education Early Learning Content Standards. Teachers will demonstrate and foster a calm and kind classroom. Students will learn to follow school routines, play cooperatively with friends and adults, and participate in small group learning activities with a focus on early math and reading skills. Multi-sensory activities will keep your child engaged and promote a love of learning. The Pre-School class attends enrichment classes including STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Art, Music, Physical Education and Spanish, helping our students learn to navigate the entire St. Anthony of Padua Parish campus. We believe that it is by families and teachers working together that we can give our children the best chance at success and the education they deserve.

Advanced Technology

The Pre-School classroom is equipped with an interactive SMART Board and IPADs to develop early technology skills. The Pre-School students attend weekly STEM class in our STEM lab.

Testimonials from our families
“All 3 of our children attended the St. Anthony pre-school program. We would highly recommend St. Anthony to anyone with little ones. We can’t say enough about the caring teachers and office staff. They instilled a joy for school in our kids that I don’t know they would have gotten from another program. We couldn’t have made a better choice for our children to start their education.”

-Lindsey and Omar Perez with Micah, Leah and Noah
“We can’t recommend the Little Trojan Pre-School enough. Both of our children have been fortunate enough to complete this program. The accomplishments they both were able to achieve in a faith based learning environment was amazing. The staff have become extended family to us and I honestly can’t thank them enough.”
